Bug squashing session before 4.1.0, win $200 on Amazon!
Hello Talend Community,
The Talend development team has spent the last 5 months on the new features of the 4.1 branch. The 4.1.0GA release (certified release) is scheduled for October 5, 2010. That is to say in just about over a month.
If you wonder how to contribute to the new release of Talend Open Studio, Talend Open Profiler and Talend MDM Community Edition then consider becoming a Talend beta tester. You don't need development skills, just use the software as usual, and report any problems you encounter thanks to the bugtracker. Your feedback is highly valuable to us! So don't hesitate!
Become a beta-tester now! And simply follow these steps:
1. In your current version of Talend Open Studio, Talend Open Profiler and Talend MDM Community Edition (4.0.3 for instance), export all items
2. Download the Talend 4.1.0 Release Candidate versions from http://www.talend.com/download.php
3. Install 4.1.0 Release Candidate versions on your computer
4. Launch 4.1.0 Release Candidate versions and create a new project
5. Import the previously exported items
6. Work with Talend as usual
7. Report bugs in the bugtracker
8. If you want to give us additional feedback, comment here on this thread
